Description - Description: The core of this project is to modify the existing power system of our mobile lab by designing and implementing a new power system to address issues inherent with the old system. The re-design should not include the existing inverters an d integral battery charger. These should be replaced with a system that produces AC current for the loads continually from the DC BUS provided by the DC Power System, alternator, and batteries. That is, the completed system should work in a similar fashion to an online double conversion Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), providing the AC loads with uninterruptible frequency and voltage regulated AC power.
