Description - Description: his project is for the design and reconstruction of approximately 15m length of Scrithwaite Wood Retaining Wall on the C5008, North of Broughton Mills.The existing wall has partially collapsed, with an adjacent length being in an unstabl e condition. The wall retains approximately 2.1m (max) of land (public highway) above a steep inclined slope. The collapsed section of the wall has created a residual slope of consolidated material with a 1m vertical slope of exposed natural gravel material below the defined road construction.The Contractor will be required to undertake the role of Principal Designer & Principal Contractor and fulfil their obligations in accordance with CDM 2015.
