Description - Description: From 2027 at the latest, BLS will concentrate all major repairs and overhauls in the Bönigen workshop. This bundling makes it possible to carry out these works centrally, efficiently and in an operationally sensible manner for BLS. For this reason, the workshop will be rebuilt and expanded in the coming years. From 2019 to 2027, BLS will build several new buildings in Bönigen. A new motor bogie and wheelset hall, a logistics hall, a long hall for 105-meter-long trains with painting, an administration building and a production hall 2 will be built on the existing site.
