The planned section of the motorway begins in the cadastral territory of Kysucké Nové Mesto on the right bank of the Kysuce at km 22.300 of the D3 motorway, where it connects to the planned construction of the D3 Žilina, Brodno – Kysucké Nové Mesto. After a short section, the motorway route passes over the Kysuce River into a close left-hand parallel with the existing road I/11 near the village of Kysucké Lieskovec.
