Description - Description: In the project Krachtige IJsseldijken Krimpenerwaard (KIJK), the Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard is reinforcing 10.5 kilometres of dike between Krimpen aan den IJssel and Gouderak. Fitting in the dike reinforcement i s a challenge. The dike has buildings on 2 sides, steep slopes, a narrow road profile and it is also the only connecting road. The dike reinforcement will have a major impact on the environment. A Damage Desk will be set up to handle any damage related to the dike work by KIJK. All damage reports will be assessed and processed by NIVRE-Register experts (independent damage experts) working at the Damage Desk. See selection guidelinenotice_title: D
