Description - Description: Within the framework of the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD), the OFB (DSUED - PatriNat) is mandated to implement the monitoring of non-indigenous marine species (NIS) in the waters of metropolitan France, which is the subject of this contract. It is requested to monitor NIS in 33 sites known as introduction hotspots, along the four metropolitan marine sub-regions, divided into 10 geographical lots. This involves, at certain hotspots, sampling the zooplanktonic and benthic communities of soft and hard substrates and then identifying and counting them in order to determine the pressure generated by NIS on these communities.
