Description - Description: The HKW Süd site is to be developed as an energy site with a CHP plant over the next few years. Various renewable energies are also part of the overall concept. This includes a deep geothermal plant to generate heat for the Energie und Wasser Potsdam GmbH networks. A CHP plant is also to be built at the Gartenstrasse site. An optional double hydrothermal borehole to use geothermal energy and thus generate heat for base load is also to be built at this site.
