Description - Description: The Fairfax County Park Authority is seeking a contractor to conduct aerial Infrared drone deer density surveys across 24 parks and 9,250 acres. The surveys will be flown within the Washington DC 30 mile and 15-mile Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA). The flights will require FAA clearance to fly within G airspace and additional permission and certificates to fly nighttime operations to properly perform infrared deer density survey data collection. Pilot’s in Command must possess FAA Part 107 Drone Operation licenses and have experience conducting deer density surveys.
