Description - Description: The average repair of the railway is carried out without dismantling the rail-traverse units from the old road and includes the following road repair activities: screening of the ballast bed, tamping and leveling of the railway, i.e. bri nging the railway to its design condition in axis and level by driving the ballast under the sleepers, compacting against their faces and holding the ballast in that position.
