Description - Description: The depot holdings of the Museum of Prehistory and Early History (MVF) of the Berlin State Museums (SMB) comprise around 350,000 objects and are currently housed in the western part of Charlottenburg Palace (theater building) in Berlin-C harlottenburg (location A). In the future, the museum's collection will find its home in the newly built Archaeological House on Petriplatz (PETRI) in Berlin-Mitte (location B), which is expected to open in early 2025. After the handover of the new depot premisesin PETRI, probably in the middle of this year, the plan is to move the majority of the collection, consisting of around 250,000 objects, to the new location in several stages from August
