Description - Description: UAntwerpen-ELCAT aims at the design and construction of a skid with electrolysis stack, which is intended for the electrochemical conversion of CO2 in zero gap mode at high pressure and temperature. This prototype will be developed in th e frame of the Catalisti Moonshot program and the LSI project – ELECTRA. The full ownership will belong to UAntwerpen-ELCAT and will be installed on BlueApp. This TRL 6 pilot plant will contain the complete infrastructure and components necessary for the direct electrochemical conversion of CO2 with the end goal to deliver in kg/h range products (CO, ethylene, etc.) as output within the ELECTRA project.
