Description - Description: The primary purpose of this project is the design and licensing of a robust and efficient multi-purpose tank for conditioning, transportation, storage and disposal of low- and medium-level radioactive waste (LSWW) generated at the Krško Nuclear Power Plant (NEK). This initiative stems from an international agreement between the governments of the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Croatia, which mandates the safe and efficient disposal of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel (ING) from the Krško NPP.
