Description - Description: The four AFM systems in the Precision Grating Working Group (WI-APG) are essential for the quality and process control of grating production and are used permanently and in parallel. One of the existing manual measuring systems ("Hand AF M" CO 404820) is to be replaced by a partially automated system that will be used both in production and for R&D investigations. The AFM stage to be developed combines a translation stage with a rotation stage so that several samples can be measured automatically in a series of measurements (batch measurement), while at the same time the sample rotation of each individual sample with respect to the measuring head can be automatically corrected.
