Description - Description: The regional water barrier at Gnephoek has been rejected for water safety and must therefore be reinforced. Gnephoek is a rural location characterised by old farms, pollard willows and a narrow road/quay. The dike section to be improved consists of 6 separate sections with a total length of 285 m. The total length of the dike is approx. 900 m, but the largest part of this length has been approved and therefore does not need to be reinforced. The work to be carried out is located northwest of Alphen aan den Rijn, in the polder and hamlet of Gnephoek.
