Tenders in prescribed format along with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 10,000.00 should be received at Bankers Institute of Rural Development, Lucknow up to 14:00 hours on 17th October 2023. The received tenders may be opened on the same day at 15:00 hours. Authorized representatives of the submitted tenders should be present. BIRD reserves the right to accept the lowest or any tender in part or full or to reject all of them without assigning any reason. Validity of tendered rates shall be for 90 (Ninety) days from the date of opening of the bid. 2. Applicants are advised to submit their tenders only in the prescribed format which can be downloaded from our website https://birdlucknow.nabard.org/tender-and-adv/. Tenders submitted in any other mode will be summarily rejected. 3. EMD may be paid directly by crediting to BIRD’s Current Account Number921020044058630 maintained with Axis Bank Main Branch MG Road, Lucknow, 226001 (IFSC Code- UTIB0000053). EMD has to be deposited only through online mode and no other means including Bank guarantee for depositing EMD shall be accepted. 4. Properly filled tender shall be submitted in a sealed envelope duly furnishing all the required information. Envelope should super-scribed as “Display unit for showcasing products of artisans at BIRD, Lucknow” and addressed to “Director, Bankers Institute of Rural Development, Sector-H, LDA Colony, Lucknow” so as to reach this office latest by 14:00 hours on 17 October 2023. The tenders should be submitted in ‘Original’ to Bankers Institute of Rural Development. 5. Tender may be opened at 15:00 hours on 17 October 2023. Authorised representatives of the submitted tenders should be present. 6. The tenders will be accepted only in respect of those empanelled bidders whose tenders are in line with the requirements as per the conditions of this document and if the same is acceptable to BIRD. The decision of BIRD in this regard shall be binding on the bidders and the same shall not be open to questions or appeals. 7. Tenders received after the prescribed date & time, on account of any reason whatsoever as also emailed tenders, shall not be considered. 8. Bankers Institute of Rural Development reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reason thereof. 9. Any conditional offer will not be accepted. Quotation should be submitted duly signed with date in the enclosed blank proforma of the schedule of items. Rates should be quoted both in figures and words. Violation of this condition may lead to rejection of the quotation. 2. Quotation should be sent in sealed cover, which should be superscripted with the word “QUOTATION”, and “Display unit for showcasing product of artisans at BIRD, Lucknow”. 3. Quotation shall remain valid for a period of three months from the date of opening the same. The rates shall be firm till the completion of the work and no escalation on any account will be allowed. 4. The rates should be inclusive of all relevant transportation charges etc. and for all the accessories required for the completion of the work. No extra amount will be paid for whatsoever. All fluctuations in prices of all materials & labour shall be borne by the vendor. 5. Applicant shall quote the rate after carefully observing the site condition and nature of work and quote accordingly. Payment shall be made as per actual measurement. No extra payment shall be done over and above quoted unit rate. 6. The BIRD does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any quotation. 7. The vendors shall examine the site and should thoroughly acquaint themselves with the nature of the work to be done, working conditions, period of permissible execution of the works. 8. Vendors should arrange for the necessary materials required for carrying out the work, including transportation, loading, unloading, payment of all taxes, duties etc. levied by the Government or local bodies. 9. During execution of the work any damage to the property of BIRD is to be rectified by the vendors as per the directions of the BIRD or otherwise BIRD may get the same rectified at the risk and cost of the vendors. 10.
