Description - BACKGROUND & SUMMARY:The District of Peachland has embarked on a project to construct a new Protective Services Building on land at the corner of San Clemente Avenue and 13th Street in Peachland, BC, which will house the District’s fire department, and may also house other community safety services to serve the community of Peachland and beyond. Based on conceptual plans completed in 2022, the ‘Class D’ cost estimate for the project is approximately $20 million, to cover both construction and ‘soft’ costs such as design and engineering.
