Description - Description: The National Research Council Canada has a requirement for the supply of a specific downconverter module for wideband RF communication system experiments in the QN Photonicsfacility. The module needs to down convert high frequency terahe rtz band RF signals to anintermediate frequency that can be analyzed with our test equipment. The module will be used inour experimental setup for HTSN projects with terahertz signal generation and transmissionbased on quantum dot/dash multi-wavelength laser technology.Our new generation of lasers have a frequency range of 250 – 300 GHz and cannot be tested withour signal analyzers. A down converter module is therefore required for us to detect
