Description - Description: The assignment aims to draw up a RUP and plan-MER (incl. limited preliminary study) for the Slachthuislaan area. The RUP must regulate the rezoning of the Slachthuislaan area from industrial to residential and green. At the same time, a neutral spatial planning balance must be sought in which the hectares of industrial zoning must be compensated. For this purpose, the existing Mechelen-Noord I industrial estate is being examined to create additional industrial estate. It is important to note that an area yet to be determined on Mechelen-Noord I must be sought and included in the RUP as a separate sub-plan.
