Description - Description: This tender concerns the App layer of a new meter concept to be introduced (DSMR6). This new meter concept has been developed in collaboration between the major Dutch grid operators and it introduces a number of new technical solutions f or the Dutch market. The most prominent is the modular construction of the meter, whereby (tele)communication and data processing are no longer part of the electricity meter. These functions are performed by the replaceable gateway, providing flexibility on both hardware and software to mitigate the risk of premature replacement.
