Description - Description: The model project "Pillar 2 of the German Professional School (GPS)" initiated by the Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society in 2024 is intended to make a contribution to alleviating the excess demand for tr ainees and skilled workers in the Thuringian economy by young people from third countries and at the same time to further strengthen the high-quality German training and vocational school system.The model project aims to accompany and support people from third countries from the application in the third country to the start of training in Germany with a holistic approach through an institutionally supported and state-legitimized training program.
