Description - Description: Nature and scope of the project: The Norwegian Coastal Administration must have carried out mercury remediation of the lens house on Eigerøyfyr. Eigerøy fire station is a lighthouse in Eigersund municipality that was established in 185 4. In its time, it was an innovation within the lighthouse service. This was the country's first tower built in cast iron, and it was made in several modules at Bærums Verk, and then transported to Eigerøy.
