Description - Description: The existing Canal Bridge, Tamarind Drive Ballina, is a two-lane structure that often reaches capacity, especially during peak hours, which makes it a significant congestion point for one of Ballina’s main evacuation routes during floo d events. To alleviate this issue, a second bridge will be constructed on the eastern side of the current bridge.Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to construct the Principal’s design for the embankment and preload for the duplication of Canal Bridge over North Creek Canal on Tamarind Drive, Ballina.
