Description - Description: According to the provisions of Act CXVI of 1996 on Atomic Energy (the so-called nuclear law), the placement of radioactive waste, the temporary storage of spent fuel elements, the closure of the nuclear fuel cycle, and the decommissionin g of nuclear facilities are carried out by a body appointed by the Government. This task is carried out by Radioactive Waste Management Nonprofit Kft.In order to fulfill the tasks defined in the Atomic Energy Act, it is necessary to monitor the environment of the National Radioactive Waste Repository (NRHT) and Radioactive Waste Processing and Storage (RHFT) sites, and perform laboratory tests.
