Description - Description: Act No. 1335 of 19 December 2008 amending the Emergency Response Act, which entered into force on 1 January 2009, provided the formal basis for the establishment of a standing emergency response to fight fires in ships at sea. The rules are now found in Legislative Decree No. 314 of 3 April 2017 of section 12, subsection of the Emergency Response Act. 3.This is the tendering of a special fire service consisting of firemen from land with the necessary education and training, cf. the contract's Appendix A, which can, on request, be transported to a burning ship at sea, for the purpose of extinguishing the fire.
