Description - Description: The Etzelwerk hydroelectric power plant of the Swiss Federal Railways AG (SBB) was built in the 1930s. The interim concession granted in 2017 will run until the new concession comes into force. According to the new concession, the residu al water variant V5 Plus is to be ensured with a monthly graduated base discharge Schlagen of 0.7 to 1.6 m³/s and an additional compensation allocation to achieve a minimum discharge in Sihlwald of 2.0 to 4.0 m³/s.
