Description - Description: At Gasunie metering and regulating stations around the country, low caloric natural gas is reduced from up to 66.2 bar to 40 bar or lower for further transport to Gas receiving stations. Various emitting (pneumatic) components are used f or pressure control. The metering and control stations date from the 1960’s and 1970’s, with one of the crucial components (also dating from that time period) being a so-called continuous gas-emitting HPSD Control Cabinet (hereafter: HCC). Currently, within Gasunie, the HCC is controlled by a Bristol 624II pneumatic PI controller. which is a controller operating on the vane nozzle principle.
