International transport and handling of coins DNB regularly sells surplus coins from the Dutch stocks to other central banks in Europe. Coins are also sometimes exchanged or purchased. Th ese are bulk quantities of euro coins transported between DNB’s Cash Centre in Huis ter Heide and the cash centres of other central banks in the Eurosystem (to be determined). 2. International transport of (semi-finished) banknotes This assignment consists of internationally transporting (semi-finished) banknotes worth up to EUR 15 million.
