Description - The Aus4ASEAN Futures ECON program is both the first element of the broader Futures initiative entering into implementation, and the successor program to the ASEAN-Australia Development Cooperation Program – Phase II (AADCP II). This is a long-stan ding program that has supported the Economic Community pillar of ASEAN since 2009. Aus4ASEAN Futures ECON will continue key elements of AADCP II which reinforce Australia’s commitment to ASEAN centrality through ASEAN ownership. This includes the use of ASEAN Secretariat (ASEC) project financing and procurement systems, under the oversight of a DFAT Program Director seconded to ASEC.
