Description - Description: On 14 February 2024, the Health Council (GR) submitted an advice to the State Secretary of Health, Welfare and Sport on immunising children against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in their first year of life. The council advises that a ll children in their first year of life should be offered protection against RSV in the short term through the National Vaccination Programme (RVP) by administering antibodies (immunisation with the antibody nirsevimab).
