Description - WEE THUMP HERBICIDE TREATMENT The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office is acquiring herbicide treatment services for 5,437 acres of BLM-managed public lands using approved pre-emergent herbicide to control invasive annual grass such a s cheatgrass (Bromus tectorum) or red brome (Bromus rubens) in areas located inside the Avi-Kwa-Ame National Monument. The work consists of applying a pre-emergent herbicide fuel break in select locations on BLM- administered lands for the control of native and invasive annual grasses.
