Description - Description: The Waitsfield-Fayston Volunteer Fire Department received a PPE Extractor through a federal grant program in 2022 to remove hazardous chemicals from fire turnout gear. The extractor has not been in use since its receipt due to environmen tal reviews, as well as the level of effort involved in connecting the unit, coordinating hazardous waste disposal, and inspecting the holding tank. The Town is soliciting proposals for the installation of the Extractor to include site work, plumbing, and electrical.
