Description - Description: REFO Plan 2024: "Optimization of the collection of packaging waste and further development of Section 22 of the Packaging Act in the light of the EU Packaging Regulation"The household-based collection of packaging waste from private end users by the dual systems has been established in Germany since the 1990s and is regulated in the Packaging Act (VerpackG). In addition to the groundbreaking successes, there is still a need for further optimization in detail.The aim of the project is to develop consensual key points together with the relevant stakeholders for:1. a specification of the regulations for the shared use of packaging waste (Section 22 Paragraph 4 of the Packaging Act)
