Notice Inviting Quotations for Physically installation of Cisco Wi-Fi access points in the
Hostels of ABV-IIITM, Gwalior
ABV-Indian Institute of Information Technology & Management-Gwalior (ABV-IIITM Gwalior) is a Central
Autonomous Institute established by the Ministry of Education (erstwhile MHRD), Government of India in the
year 1997. This institute was created for facilitating higher education, research, and consultancy in areas of
information technology (IT) and business management. The Institute is located on a 150-acre green campus.
ABV-IIITM, Gwalior invites sealed rate quotations from Authorized firms/dealers/agencies/suppliers for
supply and physical installation of Cisco wifi access points in the Hostels of ABV-IIITM, Gwalior campus. The
basic details of the required items are furnished below:

The interested firms/dealers/agencies/suppliers may submit their bids in the prescribed format duly completed
along with requisite enclosures/ documents. The incomplete bids/quotations will not be considered for
evaluation/ participation. The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the bids/quotations without
assigning any reason.

https://www.iiitm.ac.in. Detailed terms & conditions are given in the bid document. Sealed quotations to be
send to the Registrar In-charge, ABVIIITM Gwalior, Morena Link Road, Gwalior-474015 up to 4.00 PM on
28.02.2023 along with EMD and other documents.
The last date for submission of bid/quotation is 28.02.2023 by 4:00 PM. The bids/quotations will be opened on
the same day at 4:00 PM in the presence of present bidders. Quotations received after last date of submission

General Terms and Conditions:
1. Sealed quotations should be clearly superscribed as “Quotation for Installation of Physical wi-fi access
points in the Hostels of ABV-IIITM, Gwalior”
2. Late receipt of bids (i.e. after due date and time) will not be considered. Authorized representatives of the
bidders may participate in the bid opening committee meeting in case they wish to do so.
3. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five thousand only) in the form of crossed demand
draft/pay order drawn in favour of Director, ABV-IIITM, Gwalior shall be enclosed with the bid document.
The EMD of unsuccessful bidder will be returned after completion of the bidding process on request.
Technical bid received without EMD shall summarily be rejected.
4. TIN /GST Number must be clearly mentioned in the bid document. Copies of the same should also be
enclosed.
5. Rates must be quoted in figures & words in INR with all levies and taxes i.e. Sales Tax, VAT, Service Tax,
etc as per schedule given in the annexure. Rates must be quoted for all the items.
6. Each page of the quotation/ bid is to be signed by the bidders and duly stamped.
7. Special discount/rebate admissible to Educational Institution/University may be specifically indicated in
the quotation.
8. The quotation/bid would be valid for 45 days from the date of opening of the bid/quotation. In the case of
successful bidder, rates quoted shall be valid till the supplies are completed unless there is downward
revision, in such case the benefit shall be suo moto transferred to this Institution.
9. The bidder should have a support centre operating in Gwalior and complete details including telephone
number for the same must be provided.
10. Technical details, literature, catalogue etc. must be attached along with the quotation.
11. All the materials make and model should be from reputed brand and must comply with all the detailed
Technical Specifications mentioned in the bid document.
12. The financial and technical bid of bidders will be opened simultaneously.
13. The successful bidder shall be required to deposit a sum equivalent to 10% (Ten per cent) of the total cost
of the supply before commencement of supply in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of Director,
ABV-IIITM, Gwalior payable at Gwalior. No interest shall accrue on this amount. The validity of the
Performance Security Deposit shall continue for a period of six months even after termination of the
contract.
14. In case the successful bidder fails to deliver the items within the stipulated period, a sum equal to 0.5% of
the contract value of the indented items shall be deducted per week till the actual delivery, subject to
maximum of 10% of the value of the supply order.
15. The payment will be released only after successful completion of entire installation. No advance payment
will be released. The delivery will be made as per the supply order and deviation, if any, may attract penalty
as per rule. In addition to that, the EMD & Performance Security Deposit shall also be forfeited.
16. The vendor/supplier should be a registered firm with Trade & Taxes / Sales Tax /Service Tax Department
etc. should possess PAN, GSTIN/Sales tax and service tax as applicable, copies of which may be enclosed.
17. The bidders should provide details of 02 supply /installations that have been carried in to the last three
years, with details of the Organization, Concerned Person and Contact Number, preferably a government |
