Description - Description: The Naval Air Systems (NAVAIR) Command, Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201), intends to conduct a full and open competition for an electronic, General Purpose Bomb (GPB) Fuze Munition Unit (FMU-179/B). The Fuze Munition Uni t (FMU) - Bomb Fuze is the primary fuze that has been deployed by United States (US) Forces and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Allies for the last thirty seven (37) years in air-dropped conventional General Purpose (GP) warhead-based weapons systems including the Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) and is the primary Fuze used in all Mark (MK)-80/Bomb Logistics Unit (BLU) series GP bombs.
