Description - Description: The Oil and Pipelines Agency has determined the requirement to reinspect the pipelines on and associated with OFD Campbeltown's' Jetty. There are a total of 7 pipelines running from the shore to the Jetty head serving the Royal Navy and NATO with fuelling capabilities for ocean going ships and aircraft.Previously inspected and repaired, a total of 5 fuel pipelines require a complete examination and reassurance according to the requirements of API570 with supplementary NDE. There is also a 10" Return fuel oil pipeline and a 12" Firewater pipeline, these lines haven't previously been inspected and also require reassurance to the same standard.
