Description - Watford Borough Council operates a Museum within the Town. As part of the collection, the Museum has a small textile store where mould growth has recently been found on some items whilst completing inventory work.The textile collection contains a var iety of daily working- and middle-class clothing, school, work and military uniforms, coats, some wedding dresses and includes a small number of hats and shoes. Materials vary including wool, silk, leather, cotton and furs.
