Description - Description: The Gamma Ray Energy Tracking Array instrument (GRETA) is nearing completion. This instrument represents over a decade of development and a significant investment of time and resources. Once completed, GRETA will be moved from the curren t location at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory to the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams at Michigan State University. Damage from a transportation mishap could be catastrophic to this project, and the Department of Energy has authorized acquisition of shipping insurance.
