Description - Description: The client, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, represented by the President of the State Parliament, is planning the extension of the State Parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia in Düsseldorf's government district. A total of four indi vidual buildings are to be built on and next to a shared basement. The extension is located in the immediate vicinity of the pile-founded Rhine Tower (television tower) and the Rhine. The plan is to provide the new building with geothermal energy to support its energy supply. The 50 m deep BK 1/24 EWS subsoil exploration borehole, which is to be expanded into a geothermal probe, is planned for the design of the geothermally activated components,
