Description - Description: Summer of 2022 representatives from the Town of Wolcott and the Lamoille County Planning Commission (LCPC) met with partners from the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, the Vermont River Conservancy, Vermont Emergency Mana gement, and SLR International Corporation to evaluate this site for potential flood mitigation alternatives and floodplain restoration opportunities. In 2022, SLR was hired to identify potential flood mitigation projects along the Wild Branch to mitigate future flooding and reduce damage to public infrastructure and Town assets along North Wolcott Road. This initial study was funded through a USDA Technical Assistance Grant secured by the LCPC. T
