Description - Description: The goal of the project is to restore the overgrown Natura 2000 area of Pehkijärvi in Tammela. The renovation will improve the valuable SPA bird water area by increasing the amount of open water area and piling nesting islan ds made of dredged peat suitable for nesting waterfowl and seagulls. Open water is added by digging out floating moss, lichen and aquatic vegetation. In addition, the goal is to widen and deepen by dredging the current open trenches, e.g. to improve bird values. The amount of dredging mass is 46,000 m3, which is collected from 5.6 km long open waterways in an area of 5.1 ha. Of the dredged mass, 43,000 m3ktr will be placed in 3 dumping area
