Description - The municipality of Zutphen is developing the Componistenbuurt heat project in collaboration with its chain partners, the local energy cooperative Zutphen Energie (ZE), Firan, Woonbedrijf Elke1 and Rijkswaterstaat. In the project, the IJssel is the m ain source for a heat pump in the district. The heat pump feeds an MT heat network that will provide heat to more than 700 flats and ground-level homes. About 75% of the homes are owned by Woonbedrijf Elke1 – the remainder is privately owned. Six smaller utility buildings will also be connected.
