Description - Description: The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a purchasing requirement for a heavy duty equipment carrier truck body to be installed on a 66,000 lbs. GVWR truck chassis, to include flatbed with boxes and accessories, for use by the Vi rginia Department of Forestry (DOF), State Agencies, and other Public Bodies of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The specifications attached hereto describe the minimum requirements for a quantity of ten (10) heavy duty platform truck bodies for use in transporting John Deere 450K or CATERPILLAR D3K2 heavy duty firefighting tracked dozers. The heavy duty platform truck bodies shall be custom fabricated, including all labor and materials to assemble
