Description - Description: The Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship will conduct aerial sheep population inventories in winter 2025 (February and/or March) as part of its efforts to monitor and manage wildlife populations in the Peace Region. Two Bell 206 series helicopters and minimum 2 BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) approved pilots will be required to complete the surveys. Surveys will take place in Wildlife Management Units (WMUs) 7-51 and 7-36. Total flight time for these surveys is estimated at 100-110 hours, or 10-12 days.Wildlife Management Unit 7-51: The survey area will encompass the West Toad-Gundahoo population herd area west of Muncho Lake. This survey will be based out of Muncho Lake
