Description - Description: HS2 Ltd is responsible for developing and promoting the new high speed railway known as HS2. HS2 will be built in two phases; the second phase split into two sub-phases. Phase One covers the route between London and Birmingham. The line will then extend to Crewe – known as Phase 2a. The rest of Phase Two (Phase 2b) continues the High Speed network to Manchester in the West.As part of phase one, HS2 Ltd plans to build four new stations: Phase One stations at Euston, Old Oak Common, Birmingham Curzon Street and Interchange. HS2 Ltd has appointed Station Contractors for Euston, Old Oak Common and Birmingham Curzon Street and is in the process of procuring the Station Contractor I
