Description - Description: As part of His Majesty's Coastguard (HMCG) 6 Functions the Alert Management System (AMS) will fulfil Search and Rescue, Maritime Safety, Maritime Accident and Disaster Response and Maritime Environmental Protection and Response.The syste m will enable a technical transformation of how Coastguard volunteers and Full-time officers receive incident taskings and mobilisation messages.A new system will require training for both Maritime and Coastal and HMCG and would need to be coordinated accordingly.
