Description - Description: Vilna Lodge was built in 1971 and provides housing for 39 lodge residents. Smoky Lake Foundation/Homeland Housing wants to improve the safety and security of this building for the residents and the staff due to its remote rural location and minimal staffing in the evening, night and weekends. In order to accomplish this the existing nurse call system (Sentech Care Centre) requires to be upgraded as it is over 20 years old, has reached the end of its functional life, is no longer supported and parts are difficult to source.
