Description - Description: The Kent County Council (the Authority) is looking to consult with the waste sector market to support the development of a commissioning strategy for the future operation and management of Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRCs) and Wa ste Transfer Stations (WTSs) in Kent, including haulage services.KCC currently operates a network of 19 HWRCs providing facilities for re-use, recycling, and safe disposal, for a range of material streams delivered by Kent residents. Co-located at some of these sites are transfer stations for the deposit and bulk loading of waste materials collected and delivered by the district and borough councils of Kent, as well as trade waste from businesses
