Description - Description: 1. Necessity of the construction work: During the flood in June 2013, the existing left Ohredeich between the 8.00 km dike and the 11.00 km dike was overflowed. The adjacent area was flooded and had to be secured in several places by usi ng sandbags or by piling up sand that was covered with water-repellent foil. For example, the Handwerkerring industrial estate in Wolmirstedt and the Wolmirstedt district road (K1171) in the direction of Glindenberg were secured.
