Description - Description: The Project concerns the improvement/upgrade of (a) Famagusta Avenue in Nicosia from its junction with Kalavryton Street to the Sopaz roundabout, approximately 1.7 km long, and (b) a secondary road network approximately 0.8 km long, cons isting of a section of Kalavryton, Paphos, Madaris, Semelis streets, etc. The Project includes, among other things, the construction of two new roundabouts and the upgrade of the existing Sopaz roundabout, the construction of bus stops, pedestrian crossings, paved sidewalks and a shared pedestrian-cyclist zone, a central island, a green belt and works on rainwater drainage, sewage, water supply and irrigation, road markings and traffic lights.loc
