Description - Description: On behalf of the Lower Saxony Ministry for the Environment, Energy and Climate Protection, the NLWKN carries out regular state-wide investigations of the biological quality components macrophytes and phytobenthos in Lower Saxony's surfac e waters in accordance with the EC Water Framework Directive (EC-WFD). For this contract, subcomponents macrophytes, diatoms and phytobenthos without diatoms are to be investigated in selected waters in 2025.
